Its two wide slots easily accommodate waffles, thickly sliced bread and bagels. KRUPS quartz heating element and electronic toasting sensor ensure fast and uniform toasting every time. "Sensotoast Compact" features a stay-cool exterior design for safe countertop use. The unit includes a cancel feature that can interrupt the toasting cycle, as well as an extra-high lifting feature, for easier and safer bread removal. A bread guide automatically adjusts the fitting of thick or thin-sliced breads. Six different toast settings range from light to dark, and a "defrost" setting is especially designed for frozen baked goods.
